BSFFF Poster Design Competition
The artwork chosen will be used immediately for the BSFFF 2022 poster as well as multiple promotional opportunities leading up to the beginning of the festival. Additional artists will be selected for the Virtual Online Group Show on the BSFFF website opening October 3rd, 2022. Images of artworks will be taken directly from individual Artist Profiles and may be used for promotion on the RSOAA and BSFFF social media platforms. The BSFFF Poster Design Competition is open to all mediums.
Last year the Brooklyn SciFi Film Festival recognized more than 140 new, independent science fiction films created by filmmakers from 28 countries around the world.
We remain on a mission to bring the best independent, SciFi films to one of the most innovative and creative hubs in the world: Brooklyn. This thrilling, week-long film festival will feature works by some of the most dynamic minds in the genre. Our panel of judges will again select the best films for recognition and live screenings, and all selections will be available to stream online with a festival pass.
- Create an Artist Profile Before Applying for the BSFFF Poster Design Competition
To create an Artist Profile, you must Register to The Royal List. If you already have an Artist Profile, then you can Apply for the BSFFF Poster Design Competition at any time! - The artworks in your Artist Profile will be used for selection
Once you Login, go to your "My Account" page to upload up to 12 artworks, add title descriptions, and edit your profile. - Artworks Details and Information
Artwork information such as title, medium, and size should be included for all pieces. The winning image will be used immediately for the BSFFF 2022 poster artwork as well as multiple promotional opportunities leading up to the beginning of the festival. The BSFFF Poster Design Competition is open to all mediums. Specifications for the hi-res print version will be worked out directly with the winning artist. Artworks uploaded to the individual Artist Profiles should be 72dpi and will be used for web and social media purposes. - Select the "Click Here to Apply Now!" button
The "Click Here to Apply Now!" button will verify if you have already created an Artist Profile and allow The Royal to know the artists that are participating in the BSFFF Poster Design Competition. - Submit Entry Fee for the OPEN CALL: $20
You do not need to pay to have an Artist Profile on The Royal List. If you wish to participate in the BSFFF Poster Design Competition - the entry fee is $20.
